“ I ordered takeout and the presentation was beautiful when I opened up the pho and noodle bowl. I also ordered wontons and only got to eat one, as my son gobbled up the rest within 2 minutes flat! The noodle bowl and pho are my absolute favorite! The pho is HUGE. I'd say it's the biggest in town and very tasty. This is my go to restaurant when I want a nice big bowl of pho. I've ordered their Chinese food as well and it's also delicious. When I've dined in, the service is always amazing, the restaurant is clean, and the food comes out quickly. I highly recommend! ”

“ Come here if you want pho with incredible authentic flavour! Pho portions are very large, even for takeout. The broth and noodles are packaged separately making the takeout process easy and convenient. Did I mention the flavour is outstanding? The summer rolls were also delicious with an amazing dipping sauce, however, they were very heavy on the noodles inside and could have had more pork/shrimp. ”

“ We lived in Thunder Bay for two years. That’s where we discovered Pho Umami, and I had the best Vietnamese food of my life there ( called Bún Thai). This year we moved to Sudbury, and I’ve searched all over Sudbury to find a Bún Thai as good as the one from Pho Umami. I haven’t found anything that comes close. I honestly really miss Pho Umami and their Bún Thai. Good food, nice atmosphere... good for Thunder Bay people ”

It came with the meat in the broth (we usually get the meat raw in our experience but all good), and then the noodles/sprouts/basil/jalapeno were in a separate container. The broth was a little salty, but we like salty! Portions were great too. We enjoyed :) ”
